Video Frame Grabbers

The RoadPixel ANPR recognition engine runs on a standard Windows based PC and uses a Video Frame Grabber to input real-time video from multiple RoadWolf Analogue ANPR Cameras (RoadWolf HD ANPR Cameras use GigE over an CAT5/6 Cable and so do not require Video Frame Grabbers).

Each RoadWolf normally comprises two cameras: an Infrared ANPR and a Colour Overview or contextual camera – so the system captures both an image of the plate and normally a wide angle colour image of the vehicle. Two inputs of the Frame Grabber Card are therefore required per dual camera – we can also supply ANPR Cameras without the colour contextual module.

Our specialist frame grabbers will give an impressive performance in terms of speed of capture (frame rate), video switching time and number of inputs.
